The refurbishment of the office spaces in the warehouse of the furniture store Weba in Ghent aims for an expansion and renovation of the existing spaces within the existing contours into a pleasant workplace.
The outdated office spaces and ancillary functions were in urgent need of a thorough renovation. The aim of the redesign of these areas was to make optimal use of the available space by combining simplicity in high-quality storage options with a readable, clear and ergonomic desk environment.
The existing dividing wall between the warehouse and the office spaces was replaced by a contemporary application that took the opportunity to introduce views that – without losing the overview – create a dynamic atmosphere in both directions. The design of the interior is sleek and practical in its simplicity, yet warm and inviting in its use.
